VIN DE FRANCE

GRAPE VARIETY & TERROIR: Syrah & Grenache on pink sandstone and schist.

CUVÉE LE QUAI À RAISINS: Wine made with grapes sourced from Le Clos Rouge.

THE VINES: Parcels located in the Terrasses du Larzac (Hérault) and farmed by Krystel & Joel Peyre Le Clos Rouge. Organically farmed and harvested by hand.

WINEMAKING: Whole bunch Syrah co-fermented with destemmed Grenache. The grapes are macerated for 22 days between 24 and 27°C. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged 18 months in 400L French oak barrels. Total SO2 28mg/L.

TASTING: Toasted coffee beans, cacao and black olive aromas. Complex and dense wine with a fruity cherry finish.

WHEN TO DRINK: Great ageing potential. To be drunk with a nice piece of pork or duck.
